Any advice on preserving MP brassards? I have 2 as pictured below. The one with the 8th MP Brigade patch was locally made in Korea, and appears to be made of some kind of vinyl(?) material. It was stuffed into a box for years and the vinyl is cracking and flaking at the edges. The second one, with no patch, appears to be made of leather and is in reasonably good shape. It does however show some minor cracking at the fold. I would like to try to preserve these as much as possible, and if nothing else, keep the damage from getting worse. Advice on tips and techniques will be very much appreciated.
