P41 Upper Pack with Two 3rd Raider Battalion Names

I found this P41 upper pack at a swap meet. Unfortunately, the seller did not have any other military items, nor did he sell any before I came. I suspect it might have been issued to Marine Raiders since the names on the pack, R.G. Felden (stamped) and "Venter" (hand-written) are both on the Marine Raider Association's WW2 roster as being part of the 3rd Raider Battalion's HQ Company (https://marineraiderassociation.org/about-the-raiders/raider-roster/).

I would also like to confirm Venter's middle name since I suspect he is the father of a very famous scientist, Craig Venter, who has written that his father was a Marine during WW2 that served in the Pacific, where he met Craig's mother (https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/sfgate/name/elizabeth-venter-obituary).
