Ike jacket of Cpl Joseph DiGiacomo a Chicago IL native. Acquired this from his nephew. He served in the 82nd AB’s 376th PFAB and went home with the 17th AB’s 466th PFAB. He suffered a GSW to his right wrist in Italy. His nephew related a story where a fellow GI went out on patrol for him to let him get some extra sleep and was killed , which bothered him  after the war.
