I have been working on this BOS display for several years

I think all of the different branches are represented 

The missing few medical ones are harder to find than I thought need to find  ( HD,PT,P,C)

I know I don't have all the different branches yet and most of the ones that have left and right (4 different ones I think) 

 

The ranks Aides and Regimental Insignia are in there as well just a nice touch to see them all 

I found a few of the missing ranks 

The 2 Aides that are for the National guard I can't find 

as for the Regimental  crest there is 3 or 4 missing 

After I get the missing few I am labeling them all and going to put them in order by there birthday

I collect anything related to the Quartermaster Corps. I'd make two suggestions. First, if you want to capture the full design history of this branch, you need an officer collar insignia with the head below the wing. This design was to mimic the eagle while in flight. The initial design was created in 1896. It was found during WW1 that this design was hard to make out in the kinetic environment. In September 1921, famed nature artist Charles Livingston Bull created a new Quartermaster General's flag with the head held higher. An artist named Flora F. Sherwood then took his design and drew out the insignia we know today. The older officer insignia is a bit larger than the current design. It is enameled in a similar fashion. If you encounter this design with just a gilt wash, these were worn by enlisted soldiers on M1902 uniforms. That changed when collar discs came out around 1910 or so. Below is an image of the officer insignia I'm talking about.

 

The other item you may want is the current branch affiliation pin. You have an older one in the bottom row. The current ones are enameled in color.

Thank you for your comment I remember seeing that Qm bos before I'll look for one for the Obsolete category 

I did not know they changed the Regimental crest for that I'll look for the new one
