December 3, 20241 yr #1 Is this spoon right for this grenade. It does not swivel. what do you all think?
December 3, 20241 yr #2 Unfortunately looks like the fuze and spoon are incorrect. Mk1 came with 2 different types of fuzes, early and late models had different ones. Early Mk1s had the MK1 fuze that had a swivel lever. Later ones had the early cut back fuze with short spoon. Check here for more info http://www.inert-ord.net/usa03a/usa1/mk1sp/index.html
December 3, 20241 yr #3 Agreed, it should have a short spoon. That said, still a nice grenade. You should post a picture of the spoon top, it should be ink marked or engraved, that would determine it’s era.

That is a good diagram for types of grenades. Thanks. Check here for more info http://www.inert-ord.net/usa03a/usa1/mk1sp/index.html
