Hello

What are your thoughts on this Jacket?

  • The patches look to be anti sub related?
  • I was thinking he was part of a anti sub squadron?
  • Some patches look Japanese made?
  • I could not find any info on ADRC Thornton
  • Some patches I could not ID
  • I was thinking late 1950s- late 60s era

I couldn't find anything on Thornton but it's a good looking jacket!

Great Jacket!  Jealous. :-)

Great looking jacket. Looks like it was worn by a Chief Petty Officer who was an Aviation Machinist Mate (Reciprocating Engines). He was assigned to an Attack squadron and an Anti-Submarine squadron.
