Hello, I got this as a bonus for another purchase I made, and was wondering if everything checked out on it. It would also be nice if anyone had any way to get more information on it if real. Thank you

Very attractive all original cap!  Good score!

Well that’s great to hear, it was an interesting addition to a WW2 Iron Cross 2nd class! And he was selling the cap for 25 dollars too, which I probably would have bought it anyways.

Man, even at twenty five bucks that would’ve been a winner.  These used to be everywhere but I haven’t seen nearly as many lately.

Yeah, I have seen a few in stores, but they were all above $100, which I find quite crazy. Do you know a good value on this hat? I don’t plan on selling, as I do not know where I would get another cheap one!

I’m not really up to speed on these, and I won’t pretend to be.  The sweatband being loose is your killer- but I’d guesstimate $40-50 pretty easily?  Someone else may weigh in.

Well, that’s good, would you advise trying to get it repaired? I was considering that option before, but I am not so sure.

I think it looks pretty sharp and is absolutely period. I wouldn't worry about the loose sweatband. A few loops of thread to hold it in place will do.
