Whenever I get a pile of buttons, I usually get some that are obviously not from the armed services but more civilian items. Couldn't be sure but I just found three different styles on their original cards and thought I'd post pics. Notice the eagle's carrying olive branches in both its claws  and no arrows.

You used to be able to find big piles of old buttons on ebay cheap, then you fish out the goodies. These fakes were a good 10% of what I was seeing.
