Today I found this knife, probably a theater made throwing knife… The scabbard looks like a slightly smaller version of a M6, the blade shows somekind of marker „Solingen“, so it should have been made from a German blade… Found in Normandy, France.

 

Any ideas what this might be, has anyone seen some similar style knives?

Only other knife that's similar I know of is the case " pig sticker " dagger but can't say I've ever seen a Solingen marked blade in that style. sheath is pretty sweat, given how much larger the handle snap is though I'm assuming it wasn't originally matched. Still a really cool piece!
