July 17, 20242 yr #1 I have these in my storage chest where I keep my uniforms and they don’t match any uniform I have. I am guessing they are just common wwii US trousers of some kind or maybe just a little earlier. No markings, both have a 5 button fly. One has strings that come off the bottom and a clasp at the top of the fly. Are these just wwii trousers?
July 17, 20242 yr #2 Sorry if I’m wrong, but I believe these are m51 pants, the string is broken and it belongs to an adjustable waist missing the medal pieces.
July 18, 20242 yr #3 To me, the first pair of trousers appear to be Korean War period. There should be a label sewn on the inside of one of the front pockets. The second pair of pants are WWII Japanese Army. Allan
July 18, 20242 yr #4 The flaps on the back pockets are the give away on the first pair, not WWII. I agree on the second pair, Japanese.
July 19, 20242 yr Author #6 Thanks for the help that made my day. The Japanese pair seems very large waisted which I would assume is rare. I will have to try to measure them.
