I know the US Army's been using web gear for over a century and they made the exact same belt for decades but is there any way at all to date these belts or the buckle?

The belt with the mark also has an E-3116 laundry mark. Not sure if laundry marks have ever changed since WW2 ...

@JohnK83882I think this might be an earlier version simply due to the aging and the color. They didn't really change since WW2 and I have a few with names on them from the Second World War which I don't think they did after WW2.
