Picked up an inert 37mm round for the "Model Of 1916" cannon today.  Mfr is "PEMCo". Can anybody tell me what mfr this is?

Also, lot number is "1075-12" - can anybody date this?

Primer marks are "W.C."  and "1075-14".

Base of projectile is marked "STEEL SHELL MARK I" AND "P.E. & M CO".

Brass insert in base of projectile is marked "B.P.F.", "LOT 1075-16" and "A.M. CO"  

The brass insert (fuse? tracer element?) is kinda chewed up - looks like somebody tried to remove it with a pair of pliers but everything else is nice.
