May 25, 20242 yr #1 Just received this group from the estate of a USCG Rear Admiral out of Augusta, GA. Currently working to identify the Admiral using the location as unfortunately the estate sale company does not want to assist at this time. The group includes his bullion UCSG academy jacket badge, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers bullion jacket badge, shoulderboards from the span of his career and a set of four beautifully embroidered ribbon racks (one for each uniform type he may have worn). It would appear he received a Navy Commendation Medal w/ Valor Device and a secondary award. He graduated from the USCG Academy prior to the start of WW2 (possibly even early 1930's) and served in both theaters before continuing his service through the Korean War and possibly retiring in the late 1950's.
