Just stumbled upon a (new) set of nomes flying gloves, type GS/FRP-2.

But these were manufactured by Seiz GmbH in Germany with a NSN and a MIL-G-  number. (where I presume G = Germany?)

 

According to the seller, these where made in Germany for use with the US Army Europe.  The company still exists and I mailed them with the same question.

Anybody has some knowledge on these?

I can't tell you anything about the gloves, but the MIL-G- stands for "Gloves", MIL-K "Knife", MIL-S "Socks", etc.

Thanks for that clarification! Just received some mails from Seiz-GmbH and in their records, nothing was found (last 15 years(

So the search continues.

 

I can't make anything from the numbers, that might indicate a contractnumber.

The numbers look a lot like those I have seen on British gear.
