Question   Is Army Air Force flying gear and clothing worth more when collecting than Army Foot Soldier clothing and gear?

An impossible question to answer. How do you compare a flight helmet, A2 flying jacket, a flight suit, and oxygen mask, etc. to non flight material like say a haversack, M1 helmet, M3 fighting knife, etc.? They just don't really compare. If you are asking say does an officers dress uniform in the AAF sell for more than an infantry officers dress uniform, it just depends. Is either one identified? Is the Infantry one a Parachute regiment, or say First Special Service Forces? Is the AAF identified to an Ace? It just goes on and on. 

More to the point. USAAF gear is roughly divided in to three catgegories, early, mid and late war and those groups corispond to the F-1. F-2 and F-3 heated flight suits and the clothing worn with those heated flight suits. The F-1 would be associated with leather/shearling cllothing and continuous flow oxygen. The F-2 heated system had its own clothing worn with the heated system. The F-3 heated flight suit is associated with  the Alpaca clothing. Of the three groups the F-2 setup is very hard to find and brings a premium followed by the F-1 system, The F-1 blue bunny suit can be found but, the gloves and booties are very, very hard to find. The F-3 gear can be found without much problem.
