Are there any other 1st Marine division bloody patches out there that were actually manufactured that way?  This looks like an American Twill 1st SSI but directly embroidered to RED felt or wool. ANY THOUGHTS OR Other surviving examples?  First, I’ve seen actually manufactured this way.
