Civilian contractor M65?

Featured Replies

#1

Hi guys,

Just found this really nice, apparently unissued, M65 but just wanted to run it my the people in the know before I buy it. Main question, is it legit? And if so what does civilian contractor mean?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Kind regards

Tony

The patch is worn by non-combatant civilian employees of the US Army. I don't know if civilian employees of the other services, or civilian contractors wear it, as well.

In the Air Force the civilians who worked for Air Force Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS) wore that patch

The jacket is a real nice legit Golden Mfg one.  I like the set. Saw a lot like that in Kuwait and Afghanistan on contractors.

Thanks for your replies!

Jacket now ordered 😃

Does anyone have any pictures of this jacket with the same patch on? Would it sometimes be worn with any ssi or collar insignia?

Kind regards

Tony

Similar to mine but with a tan triangle instead. Wonder if the colors have meaning as mine is blue.
