There’s a garrison cap at my local antiques store with a para glider patch on it and was wondering if it’s an original WW2 item. I had a look at the cap and there are no markings for me to make a confident judgement.

Looks good to me. 

Something about this cap patch doesn't look right to my eyes.  The white border is too wide in my opinion.  

I'm with Tonomachi, not a fan of the construction of that patch. I would leave it.
