I have an M1917 Enfield rifle produced by Remington in 1918 approx. It has an additional stamp near the serial number which I originally thought was Canadian  but it's not quite like other examples I have seen. Does anybody recognize this stamp? I thought I had the only one but I came across another pic of an Eddystone with the same stamp, definitely not a Canadian stamp
