help identifying 2 WW2 Ka-bar knives

Forgot I had these two knives until I started cleaning out my desk today.

The top knife is a 7" Ka-bar that is unmarked on the other side of the ricasso nor on the blade guard. My eyesight is not that great, but I have been told it is probably an early blued Ka-bar. The first 6 photos are of this 7" Ka-bar.

The bottom knife is a 5" Ka-bar Olean NY that is also unmarked on the other side of the ricasso nor on the blade guard. This one is definitely a blued Ka-bar. The second group of 6 photos are of the 5" Ka-bar.

As neither blade is marked USMC or USN MK2, can anyone help me identify the time period these were manufactured. My understanding is these are most likely early 1943, but I only found that information referenced in one location. I prefer to have multiple validations before I state something as fact.

Thanks,

Papa

The Mk2 Ka-Bar looks to be a blank blade USMC, see the attachments.
