January 11, 20242 yr #1 Hi all, I’m not sure what to think of this felt Glider artillery/ engineer officer cap patch. The felt background has an odd “shine” to it, but it has some moth nips and glue residue from a scrapbook. Unfortunately I do not have a UV light to test the white embroidery, but I was wondering if it looks OK just based on the stitching and materials used? Thanks in advance! Fred

January 29, 20242 yr Author #4 Hi, My apologies for the delay. I finally purchased a UV light, and although the embroidery on the front does not glow, the mesh backing does. I added 1940’s another airborne cap for comparison. So in the repro box it goes? Fred

Fred Yep.. most of the copies unless really new won’t glow on the front. The mesh on the WW2 ones will not glow unless they have been glued down which is not the case with this one.
