yeah, thats one of their patches. https://www.ebay.com/str/abqmetal Like yokota mentioned they have their patches made in both vn and the Philippines 

I looked over their merchandise and they list everything under date unknown and make no claims to anything being original. 
 

Nor do they say they are modern copies. 

 

Interesting that they work out of the US embassy in Philippines and ship to a US address (their son) who then ships to the buyer.

Using U. S. mail instead of being burdened with international mailing. 

Yokota is spot on. Her name is Ursulina Housh, goes by Linda. This individual injects more garbage into the the patch stream then most of the other fakers combined. She has 2 other active eBay names to distibute her swill, tigerinsignia and hcmetalcrafts or something like that. She may have more. Whenever someone leaves a negative she claims it's a "compeditor" or some such nonsense but will never admit she's been cranking these out daily there for 20 years. Check her negative FB with the guy that said her stuff is new. She had a few newer Korean overuns that might qualify as authentic, but 99% is remade poop. Unfortunately she has duped a lot of people, look at the positives. They didn't get a piece of history, they got a piece of cloth. My least favorite dealer of all time, and that's saying a lot with some of the shysters on eBay.

Peter and Linda Housh. They sell the patches. He works at the embassy. 

 

Interesting, never saw this. She claims to be a USAF vet. I wonder how the embassy would view these misleading buisness dealings?

I think he is the vet not her. Possibly former USAF Security Forces. I also believe he is now using FEDEX instead of USPS because the Embassy may have caught wind of him using the USPS at the Embassy which is like an APO/FPO. 

The plot thickens. I'm about positive she said she was a vet too, but I could be mistaken. But what's another lie when you're selling 100s of them...

Best thing to do is to advertise that they're scammers, and just update when they make a new seller profile.

 

Its pretty shameful really. Using the "vet" angle to make sales as it lends a little credibility. It turns out they're nothing more than a pair of con-artists.

I agree staying on top of and documenting what they doing is the best way to handle the problem.

Well the 38th is a good example. The movie “Last Full Measure” about MOH winner William Pitsenbarger increased the interest in the 38th and now he sells 38th patches. 

I've been calling her out for years. She is well known within the USAF patch collecting community, but most of her sales come from those outside that, most likely many vets that want to find their old units. Which is fine for some, but she should advertise honestly. Between that and her nasty attitude when someone says something about the quality/authenticity of her products, she will rank as the worst of the worst as far as USAF goes, and that's quite an accomplishment given some of con artists on there. eBay of course could care less as long as the cash flows, but that's another animal...

Just to ensure people know, the other eBay handle is c-hmetalcrafts. She  also sells fake lighters as well.

+1. Her garbage "Vietnam Zippos" often appear on Cobra 6 Actual's excellent "Fake Vietnam Lighters" thread.

I emailed them about several patches and they told me that they were NOT period originals.
