January 1, 20242 yr #1 Saw this Navy Cross Citation Document for Thomas E. Hailey sold on eBay for $566 a few days ago. This made me curious, how would you be able to tell if a document is legitimate and not something someone recently typed up on old paper using a typewriter?

January 1, 20242 yr Author #3 Interesting. Sounds like since these are copies and didn't come with the medals, there's probably no way to know if they are truly official.
