December 27, 20232 yr #1 Felt, Maurice O-724728 11th FS 343rd FS My info is from Fold3 & I have no clue as to where this came from. Thanks in advance for the assistance. Paul
December 28, 20232 yr Author #2 Either I mis-typed or sell check kicked in, but his Las name should be FELTZ not Felt.
December 29, 20232 yr #3 Maurice S. Feltz Served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He saw an astronomical change in planes during his career. Any idea who "patootie" is on Find a Grave? Or R. Burnett? Those two either knew him or have probably collected his memorabilia.

December 29, 20232 yr Author #6 Thanks, I'm really terrible at finding background on these guys. I'm in Bella Vista Arkansas & couldn't even find his grave 20 miles away. In the Fold3 info, he was said to be a member of "Mai. John Chennault's "Flying Tigers"", can this be verified? I've gone to the Tiger Members page & none of the 5 named in the photo were either. Seems strange that it would be false info dated from 9/42.
December 30, 20232 yr #7 Don’t know his real name but patootie has done a tremendous amount of research on Fold3 and find a grave. I’m sure he must be a collector of some sort but he does great research. And has added an invaluable amount of information to both sites. He may be employed by Ancestry.
