Hey there guys, need some help on this one. Got a Usmc officer’s uniform for 75 bucks and found a name in the sleeve. Never mentioned or had a photo of the name in the listing, and found a name: “Capt Dewer” and of course I did some research on his name and looks like he was quite the famous marine but what gets me is that the ink a tad bit splotchy. From my research the signature lines up, the numbers as well, and the uniform dates to 1942. Everything seems correct, but the only thing that’s interesting to me is the splotching in the ink, not sure if that’s common but if I could get some opinions I would definitely appreciate it!
