I have a decent collection of ega’s, but have only drooled over the WWI foreign made ones from afar and have never handled any or really studied them closely. I have seen some real ones again only through listings. A friend of mine is helping out a collector who currently possesses these four officer ega’s. I have offered him my opinion, but I will stay silent on my thoughts here in order to not cause any bias. He and the collector are looking for additional opinions and  would love to hear what others think of these. There are additional photos, but I thought one each of reverse and obverse of each of the four should suffice unless someone wants or feels the need for more. Thank you in advance.

Fakes using the "lost wax" casting method sometimes used in jewelry making. 

One is a fake French cover emblem, the other two are complete fantasies

I was still waiting to post myself. I want to thank all of you who contributed and of course the opinion is unanimous. Brig, your response is exactly the same response I initially gave to my buddy. It is sad, the collector has purchased numerous items, these ega’s among them as well as several WWI USMC patches all from the same dealer. He had become comfortable with the dealer and obviously trusted him. Of the eight or ten patches I saw, only two had any chance of being original USMC WWI era. It is sad to see someone get taken advantage of like this, but the collector also needs to buy some reference material, and spend some time on this forum and educate himself.
