Hi I found this A-2 style jacket that has buttons instead of a zipper. My guess is it is civilian but am unsure.The jacket has RAU snaps. Would this be a private purchase/civilian item?

It really looks to me like the zipper broke at some point and someone put buttons on instead. Same with the cuffs. Other wise it is a regular A-2, not sure what contract. Are you selling?

I've seen A2s made new from local materials with certain parts from old jackets reused.
