My friend just gave this to me today.

He says his Dad got it from a vet, while he was working at a nursing home.

If someone could tell me the type of bomb I would appreciate it!

The paint looks very bright for something over 60 years old.

 The 100th Bomb Group was a B-17 unit out of England.

Well yea it was definitely made post war probably by a vet.

I've seen many made into ashtrays. like this in VFW post lodges etc.
