Thank you both, I do not own this helmet. (I'm thinking about buying)

 

Anyhow, from the photos, it doesn't not have the follow me stripe or evidence of it ever having one.

If you're looking to affirm whether the Lt. stripe is legit, that's hard to do unless you can tie it to a specific officer. If not you can never be 100% confident. And you can't be sure whether it was painted in WWII or sometime later. If that doesn't matter then it at least it looks good.
