I say yes. Original USGI. Unfortunately someone has 'improved' the US mark on the flap and scrubbed out the original manufacturers/date mark and attempted a JQMD 1943 mark. It appears to be od7, and I'd guess it had a postwar date so it was 'enhanced' to make it WW2. It'll make a great 12 gauge belt pouch

The markings are wrong, and the fasteners look too new. Here's an original for comparison.

This pouch is original and USGI. I'm saying it's post war likely JQMD 1951
