I feel like they don’t go for that much but I could be wrong. Thanks for looking.

I can’t tell if the piping on the cap is light blue or not. That would be the color for infantry. I have a similar over seas cap from the period with army air forces piping of dark blue and gold that was my fathers. The cap itself looks legit for the period but I have no idea about whether it’s authentic glider infantry. I’m no expert in the genre and have no idea as to what the value of an original might sell for. It does appear to be one that was privately purchased through the PX. The issued caps were reported to fit poorly and not look as good as the PX ones. I have attached some pictures of my father’s which I’m sure was a PX purchase. He was originally in glider infantry before being transferred to a base squadron.

The insignia is sewn on improperly.

It’s a sum of parts unless there is an ID.

Whats that blue writing?

Its a name written in ball point pen. The listing has better images than those screencaps that arent even sized and cropped. Definitely infantry blue but faded. Last image shows the filthy cap the seller didnt even take the time to brush off.

The Glider Infantry oval was poorly sewn but I dont think this seller has the motivatioin to sew a patch on given he cant even take the time to properly photograph or at least give it decent brush down before listing it. The patch might be WW2 but I think this garrison cap is later than WW2.

My thought was the same post WW2 cap.

Ball point pen is not WW2 either.

I also noticed the insignia being sewn on improperly. That’s what struck me the most.
