So, I'll start off by admitting that I don't focus on dress uniforms and mostly collect field gear. However, I bought this grouping many years ago and want to pass it along as im thinning out my collection. That being said, I want to get some opinions on it before I post it for sale. The uniforms themselves are original, but I want to see if yall think it was a "put together" or original grouping.

 

The grouping consists of the 4 pocket Dress jacket and trousers 

2 wool shirts

1 set of khakis

 

The dress jacket has:

 

- A beautiful cross stitched patch (the stitching does not glow) 

- Artillery collar disc

- French Fourragère 

- Ruptured duck 

- Overseas stripes 

- American defense ribbon

- Army good conduct ribbon (sewn on) and medal

- Ww2 Victory ribbon 

- ETO ribbon with invasion device and five stars. (Was originally sewn on to the right of the conduct ribbon, but came loose and was placed on top for photos) 

 

The ETO ribbon is what concerns me most, as I've never seen one with that many attachments. 

 

Thank you in advance. I may be overthinking it, but I want to make sure  before I pass it along as an original grouping to another collector.

From what I can see, looks just fine.   All those stars in the ETO ribbon would make sense for a 1st Div guy.   
I would try to ID prior to selling.  Would really enhance the value.  Good chance he did D Day (arrow head on ETO ribbon)

Thank you both, I'll be posting it in the "what's it worth" forum now to fairly price it. Unfortunately, I have not found any identifying markings for the owner. 

Out of curiosity, are there any indications of rank ever been sewn on any of the items?

Negative, there is no sign of rank ever being applied 

The 1st ID patch with cross stiching is german made I think. I have the same but used one, and KurtA voted on german made as well.
