I am trying to find out what this barrel fits. First thought a Needham but it is not. No markings. I believe it to be old but could be a reproduction.

With the side-mount bayonet socket I would guess that it is an 1858 Enfield barrel. Widely imported by both sides during the Civil War.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the 1858 Enfield is a percussion muzzle loader not a cartridge rifle.
