I managed to get lucky at the lucky gun show and score this DCU PBPV dated 1996. It is mostly complete, just missing one of the four side plates. The soft inserts look like they were made by ABA.

 

A few questions:

Did AWS make the carrier? 

Any photos of the DCU version being used in action?

What are the panels that are made to velcro to the vest?

 

 

My collecting mostly stops around 1993-94, so it's a little outside my collecting field. Any idea what they are worth / been going for on ebay? I may be interested in a trade for another rare body armor set.

 

 

Looking at that tag it looks more mainstream Govt contractor to me vs AWS.  What are the dates on the misc hard plates?  The normal looking SAPI plate looks like a usual BUP/SAPI from the 98 contracts.
