I am looking for any items that belonged to my grandfather Captain Denis J. Kigin, USMC. He flew B-25 Mitchell Bombers in World War II, and Sikorsky Helicopters in the Korean War as a flight instructor. Specifically, I would love to know the whereabouts of his bomber jacket that he wore during World War II as a B-25 Mitchell pilot. Unfortunately, when he left the service he decided to give his jacket away to a new enlistee, and our family has been looking for it ever since. I do not have many items related to my grandfathers service in the Marine Corps, so I would very much like to find this jacket, and any other belongings of his that might have made their way out of my family.
