Had my M1-A1 Folding stock carbine out of storage and took some pics. The barrel date is 3-43, serial number 273350. Crossed cannons stamp on bottom of grip, P mark on stock, IO stamp in

stock.

Love this weapon and found 2 in the wilds of PA, one from an 82nd Captain Wheeler of Luzerne, a glider rider.

STUNNING!! I've had several "Paratroopers" over the years and regretted letting them go. Came across another several months ago, 2nd block 5.4 mil and should get some pics posted here.

Very nice!  Haven’t seen one of these in a while.   And last time, the price was pretty high.  You could always do a range report and let us know how it worked!  😀

I just picked up my first M1 Carbine - an NPM - last week. I don’t feel the need for different versions of the same gun, but if I ever ran across a para version it would be com8 g home with me!

Such an iconic WW2 US small arm! I first saw one at a local gun show in about 1974. I was messmerized! Bought it for $425 the following month. It's gone but there is a replacement.
