April 21Apr 21 #2179 Very interesting badge, I'm not sure who made it. The wreath and rifle style don't match the other British badges. This looks like it was copied from a US made badge pattern with a British style clasp. The enamel looks thick which is also a characteristic of some British badges. Very cool!

July 12Jul 12 #2185 Subdued insignia was required in the field beginning in 1969 I believe. Your CIB is from a 1970 government contract. Here is the same badge as yours on the issue card, note the DSA #. You have a nice Vietnam-era gov't issue CIB.
