The Combat Infantryman Badge

A few from my small collection.

I think the light blue cloth is from the 60's and the darker blue cloth later.

The small sterling is by Gemsco and the full size Harry Superman.

I've got the Brit made badge that is unmarked.  Does anyone know who might have made this?

Very interesting badge, I'm not sure who made it. The wreath and rifle style don't match the other British badges. This looks like it was copied from a US made badge pattern with a British style clasp. The enamel looks thick which is also a characteristic of some British badges. Very cool!

Here's another one I was able to acquire recently. This is not only the finest bullion CIB I have ever seen, but is one of the nicest pieces of bullion insignia I have ever seen in person.

Craftsmanship is second to none. This badge appears in Michael Tucker's book.

Funny as it is... I put this on the wrong posting topic. Will re-post to the "unauthorized" CIB page.

Subdued insignia was required in the field beginning in 1969 I believe. Your CIB is from a 1970 government contract. Here is the same badge as yours on the issue card, note the DSA #. You have a nice Vietnam-era gov't issue CIB.
