Any know the era of this US marked chapel altar cross? Is it WWII? Is it indeed a US issue cross for a chapel altar?

Looks to be a protestant World War II cross.

I will pass this thread on to a couple of the guys and see if they’ll reply back to double check me.

The silver came out in the 60's.  This is an altar cross for a chapel.  This one is a Protestant cross and not one used by Catholics as it has no corpus.  Message sent.
