September 5, 20223 yr Author #4 I was snorkeling in Guantanamo and shallow water. I saw this 8 sided metal thing and was not sure if it was trash or something. I soaked it in CLR and then could see the USMC stamped in it. Totally stoked. It was big day for finds. I also found this:
September 5, 20223 yr #5 Seems to me that you would be out snorkeling every day. Amazing history you are finding. I remember finding something snorkeling but I was 7 years old and couldn’t get down that deep to grasp it. My uncle tried to find it but he couldn’t. Never saw it again. Hope you find more and post it.

September 6, 20223 yr #8 Very cool stuff! I got these about 10 years ago from a guy who found them on Glass Beach in Gitmo back when he was stationed there...obviously not in as good condition as your finds, but still neat
September 6, 20223 yr #9 Wow, that's some crazy cool history. Would love to see more examples. Seriously, how much cool stuff is in the waters there? Would love to take my metal detector.
