June 26, 20224 yr #1 I have a piece of ordnance marked 90MM M11 AA1 . Dated 1977. NOR 06-005. It was in my dads yard for years and I just don't know enough about this stuff to know if it is safe or not. The casing is steel and there used to be a pointy piece of aluminum over the chunk of iron that is the projectile but it corroded off. I have not seen a primer system like this before. the center hole almost looks like a bolt and the off center hole looks like it has some sort of resin in it. Thanks for any help you can give me to know if I should call the law or if it is safe. Mark
June 26, 20224 yr #2 its inert...looks like a screw in one hole. there would only be one primer, similar too this.
June 26, 20224 yr Author #3 Thank you. That's what I thought but it's good to hear from someone who knows for sure. Dang thing must be full of rocks though. Mark
June 26, 20224 yr Author #5 They were holding on a piece of aluminum that was conical and came to a very sharp point. but it corroded away over the years. made it look a lot more streamlined. it only covered the top portion of the projectile where the rust is.
July 3, 20224 yr #7 90mm APC, solid bolt. It does not have its windshield, no explosive charges, A good boat anchor.
