I just got this yesterday.  I believe it is named to Lt. Erwin Haas. The M41 has a removable wool liner and there is another fleece/leather liner which I believe is also for a M41. His lieutenant bars were once sewn onto the jacket but have been removed.  I also have his M43 patched jacket and ike jacket.  

 

I have been trying to find information about this veteran but have had no luck yet.

Does the M41 itself have buttons or buttonholes for the liner(s)?

It has button holes for the liner.
