I have an NYDC MFG co. example in my collection. 1942 dated carry strap by Excel. It's named to "A.H. Peterson".

That’s a nice one.   I have not seen too many of the NYDC bags.   
 

Here’s another S. Froehlich Co. 1943 recent pick up.     It’s in pretty good shape.  Often you see the straps all frayed.

Here is one I just got in, requested his file but the information I have on him at the moment is;

George Edward Tucker - HQ, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd MarDiv

KIA Guam 23rd July 1944
This one is a Atlantic Product Co 1941 dated Musette bag, modified with the addition of the shovel holder, named and UNIS marked.
