Hello, all! I am new to the forum  and thought I would try my luck here trying to locate a WW2 helmet. I came across the thread (pictured below) that continued discussion over a lot of helmets. One of the helmets pictured here (green with the red letters "CAPT") belonged to/was worn my grandfather Lt. Stephen A. Humsjo at Normandy. I am trying to locate the current owner (presumably "JPStout" as of the 2012 posting). Does anyone know if JPStout is still active on the forum? Maybe it was sold or traded- does anyone recognize the helmet in their collection? I'd love to be able to buy this helmet and keep it in the family. Thanks!

Unsure but if he is …. There are a couple lids I would like to talk to him about as well. Call me !!! 🤣🤣
 

Try shooting him a private message friend.  Hopefully he can help you track it down if he’s around still :)
