November 6, 20214 yr #1 I learned along time ago that I will buy anything military related if the price is right. With that said I was wandering through a thrift store today and came across this can. The can measures 17" x 17" x 11" and it has original OD green paint on the bottom and was repainted Infantry blue with Jump Wings on both sides. Not sure of the original use but believe that it was some type of food container that was repurposed for use as possibly an Airborne Infantry trash can. For $3.99 I could not pass it up regardless if know what it actually used for and would like to know if you would have purchased the can. Any help to ID the original use as well as what it may have been repurposed for would be appreciated.
