The older gentleman I bought this from couldn't remember the ship this setting was from. 3 of the plated pieces are numbered as seen in pics, maybe someone has records? Reed & Barton, International, Roger's are the makers.

I was looking online for similar pieces. Turns out that the small wavy top bowl is actually a "Captians mess desktop ashtray", it has the fouled anchor etch as does the, I'll call it a table creamer(can't find one like it) but also has U.S.N.  under anchor. Very difficult to see with the tarnish.

Thought about cleaning but I'll leave the to the next person. 

I got a small tea pot at a yard sale once that would have gone perfect with these items. It was really heavy in the hand and as soon as I flipped it over and saw the Anchor and USN, I scooped it up. But then what to do with it , so I flipped it. Can't keep every thing.
