I was with 7th ID from Jul 1990 through Jun 1993. Started out with 2/8 FA as the Regimental FSO to 9th Inf Regt. We did the FDT&E of Light TACFIRE. Branch transferred due to a knee issue to MI in '91 - went to G2 as the G2 Plans Officer and worked there through the WARFIGHTER. Then went to 107th MI as the BN XO in '92. I deployed with JTF LA as one of the two LNOs to Central Bureau LAPD - slept on the floor of the office of then Dep Chief Bernard Parks who later became Chief of Police for LAPD.

 

7th ID was a great division!
