Hello, This is my second Experimental vest. It Is a Jan 1966 regular but seems to me, actually as long as a GI long.  It has Experimental and unformed back plates, from what I know, and from what a couple of my friends agree on, it is "Experimental" ,

 

I got it from Daniel,  not on USMF, 

He got it from the family of a deceased person that worked on the production of the chicken plate at Natick labs. 

 

What surprised me when I first got it, the front plate was made by aerojet general, . I really believe this is Experimental,  for more than one reason, you may agree.
