I posted my find before Christmas of the Officer's P1926 droop wing Meyer/ Fire bronze EGA on a 1920's hat.

Well now I found a collar size pinback officer's P1926 droopy marked Meyer/fire bronze to go with it. So as the title states, I guess I have to keep an eye out for the other side collar ega to complete the hat trick.

I always get these mixed up. Which side I'm I looking for, the left or the right?

I am green with envy all over again Ken. You will be looking for the right side, right facing collar to complete your set (both collars have eagles and anchors pointing center). Good job on the collar it really matches the hat ega nicely. Good,luck!

Thanks for straightening me out on left and right.

I do feel there will be some extra pressure on finding the right side pinback collar mate.

It seems like I see more double threaded post backs than pinbacks.

I have seen left and right used interchangeably as terms. I always specify "as worn". I.E.- "Left, as worn" would be the wearer's left

Great droopy wings; difficult to find pairs but keep looking and you can find singles to match.

 Thanks. I wasn't trying to put together a set when I got the hat emblem but then stumbled into the Left (AW, as worn) collar.

You're right I think I have a better chance of finding a loose single than a whole set.
