Help ID 6th Armored Div. Colonel Studio Portrait?

Just got a studio portrait of a 6th Armored Div. Colonel and wanted to see if he could be IDed. Has infantry crossed rifle collar insignia and looks like his right arm may have been amputated.

This LtCol from the 50th Inf batt 6th AD looks a lot like him. Looks like only the super Six only had 3 Inf Batts during WWII so I’m sure if you look up CO’s and XO you might get more info.
