January 5, 200917 yr #1 hello am wondering if anyone has a picture of or has in his collection a western ww2 machette as seen in cole book #3 page 165. the ad stated is is for killing japs as one of its many uses so ww2 it must be. however cole didnt list it nor has anyone i am familiar with. the real odd thing is, the machette in the ad has a hilt. i have never seen one of these has anyone else.

All the best Frank Trzaska thank you,what you state makes sense. this has puzzled me for years and led to much reseach. since the artist image didnt resemble the BX54 i never caught the connection.
